Welcome to tiger-avon.co.uk. This site is dedicated to constructing, owning and driving the Tiger Avon.
The Tiger Avon is one of the many replicas of Colin Chapman's original Lotus Seven design from the late 1950's. It is a lightweight nimble chassis based on principally Ford Sierra and Cortina parts. The Tiger Avon boasts fully independent rear suspension unique to its design, the ability to accommodate a wide variety of engines, a low construction price and a build pattern that allows the home builder to construct the car in as small chunks as can be afforded.
